1. Entry to the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  1. Entry is open to all New Zealand residents 18 years or older, except employees and immediate families of the participating store locations, associated companies and any agencies involved in this promotion. Valid photo ID will be required.
  1. Total prize pool value is NZD $33,358.60.
  1. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  1. This Competition commences 04/12/2023 and ends 31/01/2024 while entry cards last. Any entries submitted outside this promotional period will be invalid. 
  1. There will be eight (8) weekly draws (each a “Weekly Draw”) and one (1) Major Prize Draw (“Major Prize Draw”) conducted for this promotion. Entries open at 12:00am NZDT and close at 11:59pm NZDT on the dates indicated in the table below. Entries in each Weekly Draw will NOT be entered into any subsequent Weekly Draws but will be entered into the Major Prize Draw. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.

  1. The first two (2) valid entries drawn in each Weekly Draw will each win one (1) GA double pass (consisting of two (2) GA tickets) to the Jim Beam Homegrown Festival, 2024. Total Prize Value $5,916.80 ($184.90 per ticket), in the form of sixteen (16) double passes given away.
  1. There will be one (1) Major Prize Winner for the “Jim Beam Homegrown Five (5) Day VIP Weekend” package, who will be drawn from all collated entries, at the end of the promotional period, (04/12/2023 – 31/01/2024). Major Prize Draw package valued at $27,441.8.
  1. All Weekly Winners and the Major Prize Winner will be notified via a phone call within five (5) days of the relevant draws end date.
  1. Entries are limited to one (1) entry per mobile phone, per purchase. Maximum of two (2) entries per day.
  1. To be eligible to enter and receive a scratch card with unique code, individuals must purchase any Jim Beam product from a participating Liquorland store during the Promotional Period (“Qualifying Transaction”). Entry scratch cards are available at point of purchase, while stocks last. If a scratch card and receipt are not automatically provided at the time of making a Qualifying Transaction, it’s the entrants responsibility to request both. TxT the unique code located on your scratch card to 381 within the Promotional Period to go in the draw.
  1. You may enter using any NZ mobile phone (020/021/022/027/029). Standard TxT costs apply, and those charges will be the responsibility of the individual mobile phone owners. TxT charges may not be covered by TxT-inclusive packages, check with your network operator. Please ensure you have permission of the person who pays the mobile bill before entering.
  1. All entrants who have TxT in a valid code, will receive a return message to the mobile used to enter, confirming their successful entry, within minutes of entering.
  1. You must keep your proof of purchase (receipt) to claim your prize. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the winner cannot show proof of purchase to the Promoter’s satisfaction. 
  1. Each entry goes into the draw for: A. One (1) of eight (8) Weekly Prize Draws (with the chance to win one (1) of two (2) GA double passes to the Jim Beam Homegrown 2024 Festival, each week); AND B. One (1) Major Prize Draw (Jim Beam Homegrown 5-day VIP weekend for one (1) winner and their nominated five (5) friends, including:
  • Return economy class flights for one (1) winner and their nominated five (5) friends from their nearest New Zealand commercial airport to Wellington (including airline and airport taxes). See (12) below for alternative travel detail.
  • Flights will arrive in Wellington on Thursday the 14/03/2024 with the return flight on Monday the 18/03/2024.
  • Return private transfers from Wellington airport to accommodation. 
  • Four (4) night’s stay for winner and their nominated five (5) friends at a designated Wellington accommodation.
  • Daily breakfast for winner and their nominated five (5) friends, provided at accommodation.
  • VIP tickets for winner and their nominated five (5) friends to the Jim Beam Homegrown festival, held on the 16/03/2024.
  • Boomrock adventure day package on Friday the 15/03/2024, including lunch and Hummer limo transfer for winner and their five (5) friends.
  • Backstage artists meet-and-greet at Jim Beam Homegrown festival 16/03/2024, details at discretion of promoter and full information will be communicated prior to festival day.
  1. All travel is subject to availability, at-all-times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. Travel is valid at set dates, arrive in Wellington Thursday 14th March 2024, depart Wellington Monday 18th March 2024. All bookings for prize winner and his/her nominated five (5) traveling companions must be made by 20th February 2024. Winner is responsible for any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed.
  1. Alternatively, if flights from winners nearest commercial airport to Wellington are full at time of booking, or winners are located too close to justify flying, travel expenses for winners to make their own way to Wellington will be provided (petrol vouchers, a shuttle etc.).
  1. If, for any reason, the Jim Beam Homegrown Festival is postponed, the promotor reserves the right to postpone all prize elements, including but not limited to rescheduling of flights and accommodation.  
  1. If, for any reason, the Jim Beam Homegrown Festival is cancelled, the promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to modify or substitute prize components of equivalent or greater value, or to cancel, terminate, or suspend the promotion.  
  1. Winner is responsible for any additional taxes and/or resort fees associated with the chosen accommodation, unless otherwise stated. Any additional spending money, meals (other than those included) and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package are the responsibility of the travel prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions as incurred.
  1. Major prize-winner and his/her five (5) nominated travel companions (six/6 people total) are responsible for any/all relevant insurance(s) required during this period.
  1. Major prize-winner and his/her five (5) nominated travel companions (six/6 people) must be 18 years or older and provide valid photo ID. 
  1. Promoter is Beam Suntory New Zealand Ltd. Prize may not be redeemed for cash and must be taken on the allocated dates (14/03/2024 – 18/03/2024), to allow attendance at Jim Beam Homegrowns 2024 festival on Saturday the 16/03 2024. 
  1. One Major prize winner will be drawn from all valid entries (by 2nd February 2024). Winner will be contacted by phone, by the 5th February 2024. 
  1. The prize winner(s) will be the first valid entry randomly drawn from all eligible entries received.
  1. The prize winner(s) will be notified within five (5) days of each of the Prize Draws, and contacted via a call to the mobile phone number that made the entry.  The Major Prize Draw Winner may be announced on the Jim Beam Facebook or Instagram pages after being contacted via mobile.
  1. The person whose mobile phone is used to submit the entry is deemed the entrant should any dispute arise. You will need to present the phone and proof of purchase in order to claim a prize.
  1. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash.
  1. While this promotion will be administered with all reasonable care and skill, if the Promoter or its designated agents is unable to make contact with any winner within one (1) day of a draw, the Promoter reserves the right to declare that entry invalid and draw a new winner of the prize, on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize components of equivalent or greater value if any prize becomes unavailable. 
  1. To the greatest extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any person or party associated with the promotion shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to, consequential loss) as a result of participating in this promotion or using any part of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  1. The Promoter reserves its right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason outside its reasonable control. You agree that you will be bound by such changes and that you will not hold the Promoter liable for any losses resulting from any such changes.
  1. By entering, the prize winner/s agree to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation, including but not limited to photographs and interviews. Entrants acknowledge that their details may be published in various media.
  1. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to third parties, to its contractors and agents for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion or communicating with entrants. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of this information as described. The Promoter will only use your personal details for marketing purposes outside those described above if you ‘opt in’ to a subscriber service separately from the TXT entry.
  1. If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the promoter’s or its agent’s control, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the promotion, the promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion. Neither the promoter nor its agents will be responsible for entries lost in transmission or received late due to high traffic levels, technical malfunctions, or otherwise.
  1. If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable, then the remaining Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
  1. These Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with New Zealand law. Disputes arising out of or in connection with either the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
  1. All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
