
1) Entry to the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2) Entry is open to all New Zealand residents 18 years or older, except employees and
immediate families of the participating store locations, associated companies and any
agencies involved in this promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse,
ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent,
stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister,
step-brother, step-sister or 1 st cousin.
3) Winner must have valid form of 18+ ID (NZ Passport, Driver’s License or similar).
4) This Competition commences Monday 20/01/2025 (January) – midnight Sunday
09/03/2025 (March), while entry cards last. Any entries submitted outside this promotion
period will be invalid.
5) Entries are limited to one (1) entry per mobile phone, per purchase. Maximum of two (2)
entries per day.
6) To enter, purchase any Jim Beam product at participating Super Liquor outlets during the
Promotional Period (Qualifying Purchase) and receive an entry card from staff at point of
purchase and TxT the unique code located under the scratch panel to 381, within the
Promotional Period. Purchaser must ask staff for an entry card at time of purchase if staff
does not present one to them.
7) You must keep your proof of purchase to claim a prize. Valid photo ID will be required. The
Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the winner cannot show proof of
purchase to the Promoter’s satisfaction.
8) You may enter using any NZ mobile phone (021/022/027/029). Standard TxT costs apply,
and those charges will be the responsibility of the individual mobile phone owners. TxT
charges may not be covered by TxT-inclusive packages, check with your network operator.
Please ensure you have permission of the person who pays the mobile bill before entering.
9) All entrants who have TxTed a valid unique code, will receive a return message to the
mobile used to enter, confirming their entry within minutes of entering.
10) All entries go in the draw to win one (1) major prize. One (1) winner will receive a three (3)
night getaway four (4) people, in Auckland from 28 th – 31 st March 2025 – including a VIP
Synthony festival package. Total prize valued at approx. $12,500. Prize may not be
redeemed for cash.
11) Prize-winner and their three (3) nominated travel companions will receive:
- Return economy class flights from nearest New Zealand commercial airports to
- Auckland (including airline and airport taxes). See (12-15) below for alternative travel
details - Flights will arrive in Auckland on Friday 28/03/25 with the return flight on Monday
31/03/25 - Return private transfers from airport to accommodation in Auckland.
- 3 nights’ accommodation at the Swiss Bel-suites Victoria Park, in a 3-bedroom
Super Suite (or similar), for four (4) people only - Daily Breakfast for four (4) people only
- Pre- Festival Long Lunch at Bivacco (or similar) in the Auckland Viaduct for four

12) All travel is subject to availability, at-all-times and may be dependent on select seat class
with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. Travel
is valid at set dates arrive in Auckland Friday 28 th March, depart Auckland Monday 31 st
March 2025. All bookings for prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions
must be made by 12 th March 2025. Winner is responsible for any amendment fees issued
by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed.
13) Alternatively, if flights from winners nearest commercial airport to Auckland are full at time
of booking, or winners are located too close to justify flying, we will book shuttles or cover
travel expenses for winners to get their own way to Auckland (petrol vouchers etc.), at
promoters’ discretion.
14) If, for any reason, the Synthony in the Domain event is postponed, the promotor reserves
the right to postpone all prize elements, including but not limited to the rescheduling of
flights and accommodation.
15) If, for any reason, the Synthony in the Domain event is cancelled, the promoter reserves
the right, in its absolute discretion, to modify or substitute prize components of equivalent
or greater value, or to cancel, terminate, or suspend the promotion.
16) Winner is responsible for any additional taxes and/or resort fees associated with the
chosen accommodation, unless otherwise stated. Any additional spending money, meals
(other than those included) and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to
insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package are
the responsibility of the travel prize winner and his/her nominated traveling companions
as incurred.
17) Prize-winner and his/her three (3) nominated travel companions must have valid travel
insurance for their period of travel.
18) Prize-winner and his/her three (3) nominated travel companions must be 18 years or older
and provide valid photo ID.
19) Promoter is Beam Suntory New Zealand Ltd. Prize may not be redeemed for cash and must
be taken within the allocated dates.
20) One winner will be drawn and contacted by phone from all valid entries (by 14 th February
2025)
21) The prize winner will be the first valid entry randomly drawn from all eligible entries
received.
22) The prize winner will be notified within 1 day of the draw and contacted via a call to the
mobile phone number that made the entry. The winner may be announced on the Jim
Beam Facebook or Instagram pages after being contacted via mobile.
23) The person whose mobile phone is used to submit the entry is deemed the entrant should
any dispute arise. You will need to present the phone and proof of purchase to claim a
prize.
24) Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash.
25) While this promotion will be administered with all reasonable care and skill, if the
Promoter or its designated agents is unable to contact any winner within 1 day of a draw,
the Promoter reserves the right to declare that entry invalid and draw a new winner of the
prize, on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
26) The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize components of equivalent or greater
value if any prize becomes unavailable.
27) To the greatest extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any person or party
associated with the promotion shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or
sustained (including, but not limited to, consequential loss) because of participating in this
promotion or using any part of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded
by law.
28) The Promoter reserves its right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time for any
reason outside its reasonable control. You agree that you will be bound by such changes
and that you will not hold the Promoter liable for any losses resulting from any such
changes.
29) By entering, the prize winner/s agree to be available for reasonable publicity purposes
without compensation, including but not limited to photographs and interviews. Entrants
acknowledge that their details may be published in various media.
30) The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to third parties, to its
contractors and agents for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion or
communicating with entrants. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of
this information as described. The Promoter will only use your personal details for
marketing purposes outside those described above if you ‘opt in’ to a subscriber service
separately from the TXT entry.
31) If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including, but not
limited to, infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention,
fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the promoter’s or its agent’s control,
which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct
of the promotion, the promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to cancel,
terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion. Neither the promoter nor its agents will be
responsible for entries lost in transmission or received late due to high traffic levels,
technical malfunctions, or otherwise.
32) If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise
unenforceable, then the remaining Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and
effect.
33) These Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in
connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with New
Zealand law. Disputes arising out of or in connection with either the Promotion or these
Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand
courts.
34) All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
