1. Entry to the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  1. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents 18 years or older.
  1. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating venues/outlets and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 
  1. Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or negotiable and is not redeemable for cash.
  1. This competition commences 01/10/24 and ends midnight 10/11/24 (promotional period) while entry cards last. Any entries submitted outside this promotion period will be invalid. 
  1. Entries are limited to one (1) entry per mobile phone, per purchase. Maximum of two (2) entries per day.
  1. To enter, purchase Galliano from participating liquor retail outlets during the Promotional Period, while entry cards last (Qualifying Purchase). TXT the unique code located on your entry card to 381 within the Promotional Period to go in the draw – standard TXT costs apply. If an entry card and receipt is not automatically provided at time of purchase, it is the entrants responsibility to request both.
  1. Promoter is Beam Suntory New Zealand LTD. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  1. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. 
  1. Entrants must retain their purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries, and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
  1. You may enter using any NZ mobile phone (021/022/026/027/029). Standard TXT costs apply, and those charges will be the responsibility of the individual mobile phone owners. TXT charges may not be covered by TXT -inclusive packages, check with your network operator. Please ensure you have permission of the person who pays the mobile bill before entering.
  1. All entrants who have TXTed a valid unique code, will receive a return message to the mobile used to enter, confirming their entry within minutes of entering. 
  1. The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for two (2) people to ITALY including 6 nights’ accommodation and experience packages. Winner/s must adhere to local liquor licensing laws regarding alcohol consumption in Italy.

  1. All travel is always subject to availability and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. 
  1. Travel is valid until 1st December 2025. Block out periods include all New Zealand School & Public Holidays along with all other special event periods. All bookings must be made a minimum of ninety (90) days in advance of requested departure dates. All bookings and documentation regarding the prize must be made via Free-2- Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents. Redeeming the prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel as detailed by Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd and the airline carriers in accordance with normal travel practices. 
  1. Prize-winner and their one (1) nominated travel companions must have valid travel insurance for their period of travel. Prize-winner and their one (1) nominated travel companions must be eighteen (18) years or older and provide valid photo ID. Winner and companion must be in possession of a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity on it prior to departure. 
  1. Travel Insurance allowance is to be used towards only travel insurance booked via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents. Allowance is not redeemable for cash or travel credit. Allowance does not include coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. These can be added on at your own expense via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents at the time of booking. Not all pre-existing medical conditions can be covered, please check policy wording for coverages at time of booking with agents.
  1. Winner is responsible for any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed, and ticketed. Winner is responsible for any additional taxes and/or resort fees associated with the chosen accommodation, unless otherwise stated, ie. meals and mini bar costs. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should the prize winner and/ or their guests miss their outbound or return flights or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. These costs will be the responsibility and expense of the winner and travel guests.
  1. The winner and their travel companion(s) must meet all travel requirements, legal age requirements and conditions of entry for all third-party suppliers (i.e hotels, airlines, distillery tours, restaurants, bars, events, activity suppliers etc). 
  1. Visas, valid passports, vaccinations, additional spending money, meals (other than those) and any other ancillary costs, including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, not listed in the travel prize package descriptions above are the responsibility of the travel prize winner and their nominated traveling companions as incurred. It is the winner’s responsibility to organise transport to/from the airport departure/return point. 
  1. Should the winner wish to extend their trip, permission must be sought from the Promoter who will decide in its absolute discretion. In the event the Promoter agrees for the winner to extend, all additional expenses to extend will be at the winner’s own expense, including any additional cost to extend their travel insurance policy by additional days, to ensure continuity of cover for the full duration of the trip.
  1. Promoter is Beam Suntory New Zealand Ltd. No portion of the prize is redeemable for cash. The prize is nonrefundable or transferable. 
  1. In the event that an element of the prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the winner forfeits the specified element and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of that part of the prize. 
  1. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
  1. One (1) winner will be drawn from all valid entries and contacted by phone by the 25th November 2024. 
  1. The prize winner will be the first valid entry randomly drawn from all eligible entries received. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
  1. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry, ineligible or non-contactable entrant is drawn. If the drawn winner is uncontactable after two (2) attempts from Promoter, next in-line will win.
  1. If for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of a prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter), then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and/or a new winner drawn.
  1. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
  1. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified by the Promoter.
  1. The prize winner will be notified within fifteen (15) days of the draw and contacted via a call to the mobile phone number that made the entry. The winner may be announced on the Jim Beam Facebook or Instagram pages after being contacted via mobile.
  1. The person whose mobile phone is used to submit the entry is deemed the entrant should any dispute arise. You will need to present the phone and proof of purchase to claim a prize.
  1. While this promotion will be administered with all reasonable care and skill, if the Promoter or its designated agents is unable to make contact with any winner within one (1) day of a draw (after a minimum of two (2) unsuccessful attempts), the Promoter reserves the right to declare that entry invalid and draw a new winner of the prize, on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
  1. To the greatest extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any person or party associated with the promotion shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to, consequential loss) as a result of participating in this promotion or using any part of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  1. The Promoter reserves its right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason outside its reasonable control. You agree that you will be bound by such changes and that you will not hold the Promoter liable for any losses resulting from any such changes.
  1. By entering, the prize winner/s agree to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation, including but not limited to photographs and interviews. Entrants acknowledge that their details may be published in various media and passed on to participating retail stores.
  1. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to third parties, to its contractors and agents for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion or communicating with entrants. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of this information as described. The Promoter will only use your personal details for marketing purposes outside those described above if you ‘opt in’ to a subscriber service separately from the TXT entry.
  1. If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the promoter’s or its agent’s control, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the promotion, the promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion. Neither the promoter nor its agents will be responsible for entries lost in transmission or received late due to high traffic levels, technical malfunctions, or otherwise.
  1. If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable, then the remaining Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
  1. These Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with New Zealand law. Disputes arising out of or in connection with either the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
  1. All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
